Man shot and killed, crashes van into West Philadelphia salon

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a fatal shooting in West Philadelphia Saturday evening.

It happened around 6 p.m. at 52nd Street near Girard Avenue.

According to police, a man was shot in the chest then crashed his mini-van into a hair salon.

The victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

So far, there are no arrests.
