Police seeking information regarding the shooting at a Pemberton Township officer last year.

PEMBERTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A $20,000 reward is being offered for information regarding the shooting at a Pemberton Township officer last year.

The incident occurred on Sep. 24, 2014, at about 3:50 p.m. when an officer with the Pemberton Township Police Department was shot at while on patrol in the Sunbury

Village section of Pemberton Township, police said.

The bullet struck the vehicle the officer was driving just missing him, police said.

The NJ Cop Shot Program, through the New Jersey State Policemen's

Benevolent Association, is offering a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and prosecution of the individual(s) responsible for the shooting, police said.
