A report of a man with a gun prompted the lockdown of a school in Northeast Philadelphia Friday morning.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A report of a man with a gun prompted the lockdown of a school in Northeast Philadelphia Friday morning.

It was around 11:10 a.m. when police officers responded to Lincoln High School on the 3200 block of Ryan Avenue.

A male was reportedly seen on a bike outside the school and was believed to have left a gun on the side of the school.

The school was placed on lockdown, but has since been cleared.

Police say one male was taken in for questioning, but it is not clear if a gun was found.

Authorities are continuing to investigate.
