Funeral services held for 5-year-old Jayliel Vega

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Funeral services were held Friday for a 5-year-old boy with autism who was found dead in a Lehigh Valley canal.

Jayliel Vega's body was discovered earlier this month in Allentown.

He had been missing for two days after wandering away from a relative's home on New Year's Eve.

A coroner says the boy's cause of death is still pending, but he was not hurt in any way before he died.

Investigators are calling the death tragic accident.
