VIDEO: Good Samaritan gives man shirt off his back

NEW YORK CITY (WPVI) -- A touching moment of kindness was captured on camera Friday night inside a moving train in New York City.

A man on the train spotted a male passenger - shirtless and shivering - and literally gave him the shirt off his back.

Temperatures in Manhattan that night were near freezing.

It was clear the man needed help so the Good Samaritan gave him a hand, guiding the man's arms into the sleeves.

After the shirt was on, the Good Samaritan disappeared from the video, but then came back with a hat.

He put the hat on the man's head and walked away, expecting nothing in return.
