HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- It was a trip back in time at Saint Christopher's Hospital for Children.
The hospital, which is celebrating its 140th anniversary, paid tribute to nurses Wednesday.
In 1906, Saint Christopher's established a program for so-called "cadet nurses", to help take care of sick children.
Saint Christopher's was extra busy back in those days because many hospitals didn't admit any children under the age of 3.
