Honoring volunteer service and sacrifice

HAVERFORD TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- A well deserved honor for dozens of men and women who put their lives on the line every day.

It was a packed house as the Haverford Board of Commissioners recognized each one of the township's sixty volunteer firefighters.

Each name was called, followed by a round of applause.

Haverford Township has a rich tradition of service, dating back more than 100 years.
