2 injured in kitchen fire in Point Breeze

POINT BREEZE (WPVI) -- Two people were injured in a kitchen fire in Philadelphia's Point Breeze section.

The flames broke out around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday inside a row-home on the 1700 block of Reed Street.

Firefighters arrived to see flames on the first floor. They located the fire in the kitchen.

The fire was quickly brought under control.

Two people had to be treated for smoke inhalation.

So far, no word on what sparked the blaze.
