Coast Guard rescues surfers off Oregon coast

A Coast Guard aircrew performed a helicopter rescue and saved three surfers in distress off the Oregon coast.

The rescue occurred near Devil's Punchbowl State Park Saturday afternoon.

The three men were released in good condition after being checked by EMS.

A gale warning is in effect along the Oregon coast with winds gusting to 45 knots.
