Suspects escape after police chase ends in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- At least two people who are wanted by police eluded authorities during a chase that crossed county lines into Southwest Philadelphia.

The Action Cam found a heavy police presence where it ended just after 3 a.m. Monday.

Police tell Action News the suspects jumped out of their vehicle at 84th Street and Lindbergh Boulevard and fled into some woods.

They were first spotted a short time earlier in Delaware County.

Officers and K-9 units searched the area near 84th and Lindbergh but could not locate them.

Police have not said what the suspects are wanted for or what triggered the pursuit.
