Man and 15-year-old boy arrested for North Philadelphia killing

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police say two males, including a teen, were arrested for a shooting death in North Philadelphia.

20-year-old Khalil Davenport and 15-year-old Nasir McNamee were taken into custody on Monday.

The incident happened back on March 2nd on the 2700 block of North Bonsall Street.

Jayvon Mitchell-Pendleton, 20, was allegedly shot three times by the suspects when he was walking with another 20-year-old male.

That male was not hurt during the shooting.

Mitchell-Pendleton suffered wounds to his head, hip and buttocks. He died around 9 p.m. at Temple University Hospital.

Police say they recovered a .38 caliber revolver under the victim at the scene.

Both suspects are charged with attempted murder, criminal conspiracy, aggravated assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and other related offenses.
