A man was shot and killed in Southwest Philadelphia.

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in Southwest Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on the 5800 block of Beaumont Avenue.

Arriving officers observed a 23-year-old male lying on the highway suffering a gunshot wound to the torso.

He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A second victim, a 26-year-old male, was also transported to Penn Presbyterian with nonlife-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
