Dump truck overturns on ramp heading to I-676 in Center City

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A dump truck carrying scrap metal overturned on the 6th Street ramp heading toward I-676 in Center City, Philadelphia.

Police say the driver lost control before the truck flipped onto its side.

The ramp from 6th Street was closed while the accident was cleared, and has since reopened.

The driver was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for care.

He is expected to be OK.
