5-year-old girl struck by car in Tioga-Nicetown

TIOGA-NICETOWN (WPVI) -- A 5-year-old girl was struck by a car in Philadelphia's Tioga-Nicetown section.

It happened shortly before 7 p.m. Wednesday at 17th and Ontario streets.

Police say the victim was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and is listed in stable condition.

There was no word on if the driver will be charged.
