Today hundreds of Villanova student fans are in Houston.

RADNOR, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Villanova Wildcats will play in the Final Four Saturday night in Houston, and 700 lucky students won a lottery to be there for all the excitement.

It's a field trip like no other - these excited Villanova students are headed to Houston, Texas to cheer on their Wildcats.

One of those students, Margaret Shull, tells us, "It's a big game. I think it's going to be tight - I think it's going to be a struggle. I could see it going either way, but obviously I'm really hoping for a win, and I think the Wildcats can pull it off."

Four buses, each carrying 120 students, headed to the airport Friday morning. And there's no doubt, there will be cheering all the way.

Elizabeth Bobroske says, "It's been awesome on campus. It's been so cool just being around. Everyone is freaking out. There's been so many families on campus, the book store line has been out the door. All of my friends from home keep on texting me, 'Are you going? Are you so excited?' It's just been awesome."

Our own Alicia Vitarelli, who is a Villanova alum, reports from NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.

Katie Scoboria says, "This is actually the first time I'm with the student section and not the band section. So, I'm really excited. I obviously think we are going to win because I'm fully supporting this team. We're going to go all the way."

The school received 700 student tickets to Saturday's big game against Oklahoma.

Students who didn't take the buses to the airport made their own travel plans.

The tickets were given out through a student lottery. Those who attend more games during the season had the best chances of grabbing up one of the prized tickets.

Emmett Simmons says "Very exciting, because the tickets are really expensive otherwise. So, $40 tickets was huge. It's probably the reason why I am going."

The Wildcats have been on a roll - knocking out team after team in the NCAA tournament. If they takeout Oklahoma on Saturday, it's on to the championship game, a chance at bragging rights, and of course the coveted title of number one in the NCAA.

Sarah Kesack says, "Yea, they're going to go all the way and take the championship. No other team can beat us. We have the spirit and the drive and heart. So... Go Cats!"
