Close call as tree falls into N.J. road

BOONTON, N.J. -- A dash cam video from a North Jersey police cruiser captured a close call.

A massive tree crashed into the path of a pickup truck, in Boonton Township.

It happened during this past weekend's whipping winds.

Fortunately, the driver was okay.

Both the officer and other drivers were able to stop in time.

Winds were gusting as high as 60 miles per hour in the area on Sunday.
