1 hurt in crash on City Avenue bridge

FAIRMOUNT PARK (WPVI) -- One person is recovering after a crash on the City Avenue bridge in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.

It happened at 7 a.m. Tuesday on the ramp from City Avenue to Lincoln Drive.

Police tell Action News a motorist lost control in rainy conditions and slid off the road.

The driver was treated for minor injuries. No one else was hurt.

Traffic was backed up approaching the scene as police investigated and crews worked to clear the damaged vehicle.
