Using music to bridge the religious divide

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Sweet sounds of peace filled City Hall Tuesday thanks to an interfaith project touring the U.S.

The Peace Drums Steel Band kicked off a 10 day national tour in Philadelphia using Christian, Jewish and Muslim young musicians from Israel.

Mayor Jim Kenney was there along with the consul general of Israel.

The youngsters hope to bridge the gaps between all groups using music to smooth the way.
