WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A barricade situation ended in a homicide in West Philadelphia.
The incident started around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday when neighbors heard gun shots on the 300 block of North Edgewood Street.
Police arrived to the house and saw a man looking outside.
SWAT teams also arrived and began setting up a perimeter.
After a short time police made their way into the house. They found a 22-year-old man shot twice.
Police rushed him to Presbyterian Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Another man was found hiding in the rear of the property.
He was taken into custody.
It is not clear on the relationship between the two men.
