'Be the Match' bone marrow registry drive

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- The University of Delaware football team is helping to save lives.

The team hosted the eighth annual 'Be the Match' bone marrow registry drive on campus Wednesday.

Those who signed up simply had to fill out some paperwork, and swab their cheeks.

The school has been working with this program since 2009.

To date it's added nearly two thousand members to the registry.

Thirteen have gone on to donate.
