An army of volunteers kick off "Pottstown Cares"

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- One Montgomery County town is all spruced up, thanks to volunteers who beautified their neighborhood.

Students and adults from 11 groups worked on 6 blocks of Pottstown Friday.

The army of volunteers repaired 12 homes, cleaned up, hung house numbers and cleared gutters as part of the Pottstown Cares effort.

It included chestnut, walnut, beech, and cherry streets.
