2 hurt in crash on Cheltenham Ave. in West Oak Lane

WEST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Two people are hospitalized after a crash in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia.

It happened before 6 a.m. Monday at Cheltenham Ave. and East Washington Lane.

The view from Chopper 6 HD showed one vehicle in the middle of the intersection. The other had gone off the road and hit a sign.

Action News is told two people were taken to area hospitals with stable vital signs.

There was no immediate word on their conditions or what led to the crash.

Traffic was blocked on westbound Cheltenham Ave. as police investigated and crews worked to clear the scene.
