SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- Police are investigating after a 13-year-old boy was hurt in an accident involving a police car in Philadelphia's Spring Garden section.
It happened just after 5 p.m. Friday at Broad Street and Fairmount Avenue.
Police say an officer was responding to a call when the police car struck the teenage pedestrian.

The victim was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital for what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
Police shut down the busy roadway for about a half hour while they investigated.
No police officer's were injured.
