Iowa man running 250 miles for cancer research

An Iowa man is almost finished his 250 mile run.

Ryan Wade is running across the state of Iowa to raise money and awareness for cancer research.

He's making short stops along the way to meet supporters and rest his legs.

He says many smaller, rural areas across the nation don't get the attention or help they need to beat cancer.

And Wade is raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

By the way, the distance he's running north to south through Iowa is equal to running 9.5 marathons!
