CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A former 76er is being honored for his contributions to the community.
City council members recognized Aaron McKie Wednesday, with a special resolution.
McKie is helping Philadelphia Youth Basketball build a new 25 million dollar community center in North Philadelphia.
The center will include a number of basketball courts, as well as a health and wellness wing.
McKie, a Philadelphia native, is an assistant coach for Temple's men's basketball team.
