Man stabbed in the neck in Tioga

TIOGA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the person responsible for stabbing a 46-year-old man in the neck in Philadelphia's Tioga section.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of West Erie Avenue and North 19th Street.

The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital in serious, but stable condition.

Police say a male suspect was spotted running from the scene.

So far, no word on a motive.
