Woman injured in Overbrook house fire

OVERBROOK (WPVI) -- A woman was injured in a house fire in Philadelphia's Overbrook section.

The fire started around 7 p.m. Sunday along the 1600 block of North 55th Street.

Upon arrival, officials say fire crews found heavy fire conditions on the upper floors of a three-story home.

The victim was rescued, treated at the scene and then taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

No word on her condition at this time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
