Same name, different look
When Showboat casino hotel in Atlantic City re-opens next month, it will look a bit different

It's been almost two years since the Showboat casino hotel in Atlantic City was shut down, but when it re-opens next month, it will look a bit different.

The hotel will still be called show-boat, but it won't have a casino.

That's according to Philadelphia developer Bart Blatstein.

He wants Showboat to be a non-gambling, luxury resort when it re-opens to the public in July.

Showboat's former owner, Caesars, closed the hotel August of 2014. This is the 2nd of four Atlantic City casinos to go out of business that year.
