WARMINSTER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police have arrested a man who is accused of stabbing a woman during an attempted sex assault at a shopping center in Warminster Twp., Pa.

Angel Ramos, 47, with no fixed address, was arrested shortly after the incident on Monday night.

Warminster Township Police say the 33-year-old woman was attacked while getting into her car in the 800 block of West Street Road.

The victim told police Ramos approached her, opened the car door, and tried to rob and sexually assault her at knifepoint.

She managed to escape and run to a nearby business to call police. She suffered stab wounds to her head and hands, police say, and was treated and released from the hospital.

Police say Ramos fled on foot, but was found with the help of Upper Moreland police dogs loitering around a nearby business.

Ramos is charged with Attempted Robbery, Aggravated and Simple Assault, Sexual Assault, Terroristic Threats, Recklessly Endangering Another Person and Possession of an Instrument of Crime.

Ramos is being held on $7.5 million dollars.
