Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Two thousand Philadelphia students were awarded scholarships Thursday.

The "Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia" reached its goal of providing 10 thousand scholarships to low income families in the city.

The money goes to help students in K through 8th grade go to tuition-based schools.

10 college scholarships were also awarded at the Kimmel Center.
