EXTON, Pa. (WPVI) --Fashion-savvy and bargain-savvy women have a new place to shop in the Delaware Valley.
Style Encore is a new Exton boutique run by a mother and daughter team. And for a number of reasons - it is not your typical consignment store.
"It's geared toward women 25 and older, people who like a good deal, people who like to shop," said co-owner, Olivia Topolski.
Have you heard of Plato's Closet, which offers casual clothes for young adults and teens?
Style Encore is it's big sister.
You'll find business and casual attire here, as well as a wide range of brands from Jimmy Choo pumps to Nike sneakers.
"Some of the most popular brands would be Loft, White House Black Market, Lily Pulitzer," said co-owner, Carol Topolski.
You'll also find Louis Vuitton, Coach, Burberry, and Tory Burch.
The store started buying clothes from customers last month and started selling clothes this month.
Expect prices that are about 70% off retail!
And if you're looking to sell your gently-used things, you'll like the way Style Encore works.
"You don't have to make an appointment, it's a first-come, first-serve basis. We buy all the time and we buy all seasons," said Carol.
A computer generates a price for each item while you wait. Then - immediate gratification.
"You get cash on the spot. You don't have to wait for your stuff to sell, you get it that day," said Olivia.
Style Encore is run by the same mother and daughter team who own Plato's Closet next door.
"It's been great, my daughter has been managing the store. She knows a lot about fashion, she went to school for business and entrepreneurship," said Carol.
Opening this brand new boutique has been a lot of work.
"We get along really well, though so it's a lot of fun," said Olivia.
