Making one community whole again

CHINATOWN (WPVI) -- The first designs for an effort to connect communities on either side of the Vine Street Expressway were on display Friday.

The "every place counts" design challenge gathered ideas from urban planners, elected officials and a diverse group of local residents.

The neighborhoods in question border the expressway between 6th and 15th streets.
