A 16-year-old boy is facing arson charges after the Delaware state fire marshal says he set fire to a motel in New Castle.

The teen was staying at the Delaware Auto Court Motel in the 200 block of South DuPont Highway on Wednesday July 20, when investigators say he ignited a fire.

A 20-year-old male firefighter suffered burns to his legs.
