Woman shot multiple times in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a woman was shot multiples times in Wilmington, Delaware.

The shooting happened around 2:45 a.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of West 5th Street.

The victim was hit numerous times in both arms, police say. She was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

There have been no arrests, but police say they are searching for a woman who is believed to be responsible.
