Child injured after SUV flips over on Roosevelt Boulevard in East Falls

A child was injured Sunday in a crash along the Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia's East Falls section.

A child was injured Sunday in a crash along the Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia's East Falls section.

Police say an SUV was traveling southbound on the Boulevard when it hit a guard rail that separates the highway from the Fox Street exit.

The impact caused the SUV to flip over and up onto the Fox Street exit.

The impact injured a small child, who was in the backseat of the SUV.

The child was rushed to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

No word on their condition at this time.

Police are investigating.
