Pregnant woman shot in head, stomach in Philadelphia triple shooting

PORT RICHMOND (WPVI) -- A pregnant woman is among three people critically injured following a shooting in Philadelphia.

The shooting happened at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday on the 1800 block of Thayer Street.

Police say the pregnant victim sustained gunshot wounds to her stomach and head.

Witnesses say she ran around the corner and collapsed.

The second victim also sustain injuries to his head and stomach.

The third victim, a 22-year-old male, was shot once in the groin area.

All three victims were transported to Temple University Hospital by police.

A neighbor heard the gunshots from inside her home.

"Firecrackers, boom, boom, boom. When I heard it, I was sitting in my chair and ran to my kitchen. I heard people going up the street screaming and then I saw the guy that got shot," neighbor Mary Magras said.

So far, no arrests have been made.
