"Bridging the Gap" program

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Some college students in New Jersey now have a new way to reduce the cost of their education.

The "Bridging the Gap" program allows students who earn their associate's degree from Camden County College to transfer to Rutgers University-Camden at a lower rate.

Families with an adjusted gross income of 60 thousand or less will receive a grant covering all of their tuition and campus fees not already covered by federal and or state grants.

Incomes between 60 thousand and 100 thousand will get half covered.
