UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- Vice President Joe Biden was in Philadelphia Tuesday to campaign for Hillary Clinton on National Voter Registration Day.

The Democrat and Delaware native attended a voter registration rally at Drexel University.

He addressed an audience about 500 people, most of them college students.

Biden discussed Clinton's economic plans, including her proposals to create jobs and strengthen the middle class.

He also talked about Monday night's presidential debate, and why he believes Donald Trump should not be president.

"Five times (he declared) bankruptcy," Biden said of Trump. "(If) your mom and dad declare bankruptcy, try to get a loan over the next five, ten, fifteen years. Try to get the money to help get you to college. That's the rigged system. He's part of the rigged system."

With only two weeks left to register to vote in Pennsylvania, Biden made a push for young people, millennials, to get themselves registered.

There are 42 days till the election, and Monday night's debate was fresh on the minds of many attending this rally.

While most were Clinton supporters, some told Action News they are still undecided.

Biden also threw his support behind two local Democratic candidates: Katie McGinty, who is running for U.S. Senate, and Dwight Evans, who is running for Congress.

He urged the crowd to vote for them along with Clinton.
