LOWER MERION, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Lower Merion, Montgomery County came to the rescue of a deer that found itself stuck in a fence.

Animal Control Officer Ed Boegly arrived on the scene, finding the deer helpless between the black metal posts of the fence.

Officer Boegly jumped into action, grabbing a saw and worked to remove a section of the fence.

After a few minutes, the deer was able to wiggle out, and Carrie Gross Pestronk captured the moment on video as the deer galloped away.

Nice work, Officer Boegly!
