CENTER CITY (WPVI) --A crusade against domestic violence launched Friday in Philadelphia.
The Women Against Abuse organization announced the 9th annual "iPledge" campaign.
They're hoping to raise awareness, and to help more victims to escape abusive situations.
Mayor Jim Kenney delivered the opening remarks.
He said 19 murders were caused by domestic violence in the city, last year alone, and he said everyone has a responsibility to look out for potential victims.
