PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --October is an interesting month for shopping - sandwiched somewhere between Back to School and Black Friday.
But our friends at DealNews say depending on what you are in the market for, there can be some big deals!
First, cars. A lot of dealerships are trying to clear out the 2016 models to make way for next year's models.
That means you can do a little negotiating this month.
Same goes for things like patio furniture and camping gear. Seasonal items will see prices slashed by as much at 70 percent this month.
Or maybe you're looking for a little getaway. It's the off season in Europe, which means prices are slashed.
DealNews say jeans are still on sale from Back to School and HDTVs are going on sale ahead of Black Friday.
But there are some deals which you should wait for Black Friday to buy.
They say November will bring the year's best prices on appliances, winter apparel, most Apple devices and electronics.
And of course - right now it's all about Halloween shopping, but if you can, try to wait until as close to October 31st as possible. As the holiday nears, the prices are slashed as much as 80 percent off.
