Family displaced after Camden County house fire; firefighter hurt

A family has been displaced after a house fire overnight in Camden County.

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A family has been displaced after a house fire overnight in Camden County.

The fire broke out just after 3 a.m. Sunday on the 1000 block of Oakwood Avenue in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township.

Upon arrival, crews found the front of the residence fully engulfed with flames emanating from the front and side windows.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and the family of four was able to escape without any injuries.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital for heat exhaustion, but is in good condition.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but is believed to be nonsuspicious.
