A lot of people turn to the internet to help diagnose medical problems. But a small study out of Harvard is backing up real-life doctors.

A lot of people turn to the internet to help diagnose medical problems.

But a small study out of Harvard is backing up real-life doctors.

They did a head-to-head comparison. Human doctors were given the same information as online symptom-checkers.

The doctors got the right diagnosis 72 percent of the time.

The doctors were also more likely to spot serious and less common problems.
