VIDEO: Police: Possible road rage leads to shootout in Center City
Police say a possible road rage incident may have led to a shootout between two vehicles in Philadelphia, Center City.

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Police say road rage may have led to an exchange of gunfire in Philadelphia.

While police have not pinpointed exactly where the incident began, they know it ended around 11 p.m. Tuesday near the Liberty Bell on Independence Mall.

Initital reports indicate suspects in an SUV and another vehicle began shooting at each other.

The driver of the SUV stopped at 5th and Arch streets, jumped out of the vehicle and fled, leaving a passenger with special needs in the backseat.

Police and National Park rangers arrived on the scene and found the passenger, who was unharmed.

They were unable to locate the driver.

The other vehicle involved has not been found.
