Keeping those post-Halloween candy cravings at bay

Halloween is over and you've managed to limit the amount of candy your kids eat.

Halloween is over and you've managed to limit the amount of candy your kids eat.

But now, you and co-workers have way too much at the office.

So how do you limit your candy consumption?

First, try to keep it out of sight.

Also, experts say your first defense is to start the day with a solid breakfast, high in protein and healthy fats - like eggs, avocado or nut butter.

And to fight the afternoon craving for sweets, drinking cinnamon tea can help.

Cinnamon has been shown to reduce sugar cravings.

But if you have to have those goodies, eat one or two and do it mindfully.

Another strategy is to get up and walk around.

That will help prevent you from eating candy all day.
