Mousetrap powered vehicles

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- It was no mickey mouse competition, here at Widener university Wednesday in Delaware county.

Hundreds of high school students from across the region, are taking part in the annual engineering, mousetrap contest.

The idea is to design and build a vehicle that is powered by ONLY a mousetrap.

Many of the student teams took on a creative flair for their inventions, like these old 45 records for wheels.

Probably found those in their parent's basement.

The team whose vehicle travels the farthest wins.
