ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Allentown School District Thursday night introduced Thomas Parker as it new superintendent during a special board meeting.
He'll be taking over July 1.
The board hired Parker to a 5-year contract with a starting salary of $175,000.
He has a doctorate in education, has served as a middle and high school principal, and served as superintendent in a small Michigan city since 2013.
