Woman struck by hit-and-run driver on South Street

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the driver of a dark SUV after a woman was struck in South Philadelphia.

The hit-and-run happened at 2nd and South streets before 2 a.m. Monday

Police say the 20-year-old victim suffered leg injuries.

She was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital with stable vital signs.

Police are working to track down the driver responsible.
