Man shot 7 times in Olney

OLNEY (WPVI) -- Police are looking for the person responsible for shooting a 40-year-old man seven times in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood.

The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday on the 5700 block of North 19th Street.

He was wounded seven times, and one of the bullets hit him in the head.

Arriving officers rushed the victim to Einstein Medical Center.

He was taken into surgery and listed in critical condition.

So far, there are no arrests or a motive for the shooting.
