Chinese Lantern Festival plans

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- A much loved celebration of Chinese culture will be back in Philadelphia this summer.

Organizers of the Chinese Lantern Festival announced Tuesday that it will return to Franklin Square, complete with larger than life illuminated silk sculptures, acrobatics, dancers, and the return of a 200 foot long dragon.

The event runs from May 9th to June 11th.
